CrossFit World Champion Turned BJJ Blue Belt Explains Benefits of Both

He said that BJJ athletes need to use cross-fit for their benefit. Cross fit works as a very good opportunity for a BJJ player because his body is already familiar with the strain. He also mentioned that he has been spending a lot of time learning the BJJ techniques and wanted to share various other parts of the exercises related to BJJ that he found useful. On average he recommends cross-fit training to be used as training at least 2 to 3 times per week.

He also said that even if you do not want to take BJJ professionally, you still need to use a cross fit as your exercise. He said that if you are into crossfit you need to use BJJ as your support. In case you are thinking of starting it as a sport for 5-6 days a week, carry out a 3-day program that can help you eventually with the BJJ. Both BJJ and crossfit training are interrelated and you will learn a lot through this training as well.
